ITM6 - tacmd listsystems give no result / empty list / no data back

iKnow-IT banner

After new agents came into the ITM6 environment, we discovered that the command "tacmd listsystems" did not give any result back  / empty list / no data back
If you run e.g. "tacmd listsystems -t RZ UX UL"  it give's output, no issues

I thought it has to do with ulimit(s) on Unix / AIX set.

If I become "root" user

# ulimit -a

time(seconds)        unlimited
file(blocks)         unlimited
data(kbytes)         unlimited
stack(kbytes)        32768
memory(kbytes)       32768
coredump(blocks)     unlimited
nofiles(descriptors) unlimited
threads(per process) unlimited
processes(per user)  unlimited

and load CANDLEHOME variable settings:

and login:

#  tacmd login -s <HUBNAME> -u <username>  -t 1440

than I get result back with:

# tacmd listsystems
....

another check:

if I do a su - <user> after I was already root, than the limits are

$ ulimit -a

time(seconds)        unlimited
file(blocks)         unlimited
data(kbytes)         131072
stack(kbytes)        32768
memory(kbytes)       32768
coredump(blocks)     0
nofiles(descriptors) 2000
threads(per process) unlimited
processes(per user)  unlimited

and load CANDLEHOME variable settings:

$  tacmd login -s <HUBNAME> -u <username>  -t 1440

than I get NO result back with:

$ tacmd listsystems

I have changed the default data setting from 262144 into 362144 (vi /etc/security/limits)
...

default:

        fsize = 2097151
        core = 0
        cpu = -1
        data = 362144
        rss = 65536
        stack = 65536
        nofiles = 2000
        core_hard = 0

If you newly signon on HUB than you can do tacmd listsystem :-)

$ ulimit -a

time(seconds)        unlimited
file(blocks)         unlimited
data(kbytes)         181072
stack(kbytes)        32768
memory(kbytes)       32768
coredump(blocks)     0
nofiles(descriptors) 2000
threads(per process) unlimited
processes(per user)  unlimited
