ITM6 Loading Support Manual (without using SDA)

If you need to load manually "agent support" tou can do this with the following steps:

Installatie procedure App Support voor de agents Siebel(ub), Tivoli Logfile Agent (lo) and Custom agent(00) build with agent builder

On all systems prereq:
# mount -o soft <Software Repository NFS server>:/tivoli /mnt
HUB TEMS
High level
1. Stop HUB TEMS
2. Install app support silently for Siebel en TLA first
3. Start HUB TEMS
4. Seed app support for Siebel en TLA
5. Install & enable app support for Custom Agents 00
6. Check
7. Secure and umount

Detail
Ensure that HUB TEMS is stopped, stop it when necessary with;
# itmcmd server stop HUB_<VIPA Hostname>

Siebel
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/(ITCAM4Siebel|ITCAM_AGENTSIEBEL_CRM_V7.1.1MP_ML)
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/ub.tms.install.txt

TLA
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/ITLFA623FP1
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/lo.tms.install.txt

Ensure that HUB TEMS is running, start it when necessary with;
# itmcmd server start HUB_<VIPA Hostname>

Enable app support voor ub en lo
# itmcmd support –t HUB_<VIPA Hostname> -s NONE ub lo

Custom Agents
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/K00
Install and enable application support for Custom agents using following:

cd K00
./installIraAgentTEMS.sh /opt/IBM/HUBTEMS/ITM -h <VIPA hostname> -u sysadmin -p <password>

Check via Installed Catalogs on TEPS if app supports is loaded correctly

 

Secure the TEMS installation
# $CANDLEHOME/bin/secureMain –g <OS group> lock
# umount /mnt

TEPS
High level
1. Stop TEPS
2. Install app support silently for Siebel en TLA first (both Portal Server (tps) and Portal Browser (tpw) component)
3. Start TEPS
4. Install & enable app support for Custom Agents 00
5. Check
6. Secure and umount

Detail
Ensure that TEPS is stopped, stop it when necessary with;
# itmcmd agent stop cq kf

Siebel
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/(ITCAM4Siebel|ITCAM_AGENTSIEBEL_CRM_V7.1.1MP_ML)
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/ub.tps.install.txt
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/ub.tpw.install.txt

DB2
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/ITMCAM4DB2_71
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/ud.tps.install.txt
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/ud.tpw.install.txt

TLA
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/ITLFA623FP1
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/lo.tps.install.txt
# ./install.sh –q –p /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/silent/lo.tpw.install.txt

Ensure that TEPS is running, start it when necessary with;
# itmcmd agent start cq

Custom Agents
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/K00
Install and enable application support for GSMA BlueCARE agents using following for loop:
./installIraAgentTEPS.sh /opt/IBM/TEPS/ITM

Check via Installed Catalogs on TEPS if app supports is loaded correctly

 

Check in ITM6 Portal that all .. agent types show up in Situation Editor
Check in tep.jnlp that all .. agent types have been added to tep.jnlp file

Secure the TEPS installation
# $CANDLEHOME/bin/secureMain –g itminf lock
# umount /mnt

RTEMS

High level
1. Stop RTEMS
2. Install app support silently for Siebel en TLA first
3. Start RTEMS
4. Seed app support for Siebel en TLA
5. Install & enable app support for Custom Agents 00
6. Check
7. Secure and umount

Detail
Ensure that RTEMS is stopped, stop it when necessary with;
# itmcmd server stop REMOTE_<VIPA Hostname>

Siebel
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/(ITCAM4Siebel|ITCAM_AGENTSIEBEL_CRM_V7.1.1MP_ML)

Custom Agents
# cd /mnt/ITM6.2.3/inst/imgs/K00
./installIraAgentTEMS.sh /opt/IBM/RTEMS/ITM -h <VIPA hostname> -u <user name> 

Check via Installed Catalogs on TEPS if app supports is loaded correctly
